ABOUT

I've been playing my primary instrument, guitar, since I was five years old. I was very fortunate to have my father inspire me musically as I grew up. At the age of 12, I decided to take guitar lessons and studied with the late Frank Hipp. At the age of 14, I changed teachers and studied with James Kelly, an amazing jazz player. Playing in multiple bands with all types of experienced musicians throughout my musical career made me the player I am today. I am highly proficient in jazz and blues performance which makes me a highly versatile guitarist. The Beatles, Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Clapton, Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Albert King, B.B. King, Wes Montgomery, Queens of the Stone Age, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper, The Contortionists, and Led Zeppelin are just some of my many musical influences.

My professional experience lies in teaching comprehensive one-on-one in-person and virtual guitar lessons to students of all ages and proficiency levels while cultivating an environment that increases music appreciation. I have been an active musician and music teacher in the Trenton/Hamilton, NJ area for more than 14 years. With a degree in music and extensive experience in teaching and performance, I possess a keen ability to coach and mentor students to help them achieve their musical goals.
